Can't pay off online bounty

I had the absolute gall to loot some random dead guy in online and now I have a one cent bounty I can't pay off. The option is just grayed out when I go to the post office. Any ideas?

EDIT: The fix was to increase my bounty beyond 1 cent. Was able to pay it off after that

hey so i think you can only pay off ur bounty in ur camp when you go to the christmas tree and chest and then right click it and it should show a promp to pay off a bounty

Good idea but same issue, option to pay off bounties is grayed out.

The issue must've been my bounty just being one cent. Raised the bounty and was able to pay it off

I think beacuse its too low. I had bounty of 14cents but i only had to pay 7 cents

Your bounty is always less when it comes to paying it off, you can't get less than 1c. Make it higher then pay it off.

You're supposed to be able to pay off your bounty at either your lockbox or at the post office (just like you can get your deliveries at either place).

It sounds like the problem is probably that the game takes your bounty, calculates what you have to pay off, and then when it goes to check whether you can pay off your bounty, it compares the payoff with 0 to see whether you have anything to pay, and since at 1 cent, it calculates the payoff as being 0 (since the payoff is less than the bounty), it decides that you have no bounty to pay off.

It's probably even an easy fix.

How did you increase your bounty? I've tried everything from shoving, to fist fights and murder. I'm witnessed, reported, evade the lawmen, and nothing. I can't do any bounties if I HAVE a bounty. :sad:

Try going to Saint Denis and just shooting a guy without killing him. He should turn into a witness and run off to report you. That's what I did.
