Yeah, but selecting it in the left TAB works better for me. For some reason the map sometgimes likes to jump around when I click on it.
You don't need to be physically there. The marker has to be selected on the map. If that doesn't work, try to reset the keybindings to default. Maybe that does something>
i have the exact same issue with a marker i managed put directly on top of the trapper in saint denis
whenever i move the cursor over the marker, the 'press z to add/remove marker' function, is greyed out, just like it does if you hover over any POI on the map
i can't play the game with an unwanted marker constantly showing on my mini map, it'll drive me nuts!
I have already confirmed with Rockstar that the Companion App is not supported for PC users. I asked the support person if that was something that would be supported in the future and the reply was "That is not something I am able to discuss at this time". So... very vague reply, but the fact remains that the companion app doesn't work for PC users.
It functions some with your account and progress but you can't sync the map 😑
