How to fix GFX STATE ERROR

Open RDR2, run the benchmark (dont stop it, run the ENTIRE benchmark), after its done go to the main menu and run singleplayer, It should work for you.

For me it worked.

Go to graphics options and you can run the benchmark from there.

I'm getting this ERR GFX INIT. Is it possible to run the benchmark if you can't open the game?

I dont think you can, but try to update your drivers if you haven't done it yet.

Thanks did both those and now accessed game. In settings though it doesn't show graphics card and won't run benchmark.

Go to your My Documents ...\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings\ and remove the sga_vulkanXXX files

Anyone else got the error before during a main mission? Happened to me first time today and the autosave didn't take me back to the latest checkpoint. I hd to do the entire mission from start.

I fixed my GFX STATE ERROR yesterday by changing to DX12 and running the benchmark. Today i bought the bar in my moonshiner business.
And when i walk into my bar the game freezes and produces the GFX STATE ERROR again . .

My game worked ok from the rockstar release until the moonshiner update.
