2400 mhz vs 3200 mhz ram?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=43lukpERXKU
according to this video there's a guaranteed 5-12 fps difference between these rams. now, i need 5-6 fps more in order to achieve stable 60 fps with my system: gtx 1060 + ryzen 3600. should i sell my 2400 rams and upgrade to 3200 or 3600, is the video reliable?

No. Here is a challenge. Turn your fps meter off and start playing blindly, you won't notice anything from 55 to 60 trust me. Save your $$$

In terms of upgrading RAM in general, yes. At $ 20, definitely yes.

Well I upgraded my ram just for this. I have a ryzen 3 2200g and had one stick of 8gb DDR4 ram (2400mhz) when I bought this. I added another 8gb DDR4 (2666mhz) a week after. Now I have dual channel 2400mhz 16gb RAM. There’s an fps difference for sure, however it’s only 5-6fps. Now I’m planning on replacing my 2400mhz ram soon with another 2666mhz soon so it can run at 2666.

Bottomline: Yes, ram does affect fps.

with a ryzen cpu, you should ALWAYS run at DUAL CHANNEL and get the fastest ram speed. BUT MAKE SURE You run it ON DUAL CHANNEL

As for the cpu, there’s only a set increase on whether a cpu will increase your fps. If you see your cpu at 100% all the time while your gpu at 30ish something, then a cpu upgrade would be needed. Also note that this changes on where you are on the game. Towns tend to be more taxing on cpu’s, while forests on gpu.
My 2200g maxes out at towns, so it drags my fps (from 77 outdoors to 40ish)
A 3600 is already a good cpu btw!

In terms of bang for the buck it's minimal at best. But if you got $$$$ to spend go for it as it's pretty obvious you already have your mind made up, lol

below is a good article that explains things...
