There 's no panther in the woods. Everything tried and the bait lay down and reloaded. It is absent! What should I do? I can 't find 3 real days.

Go to Brainwathe forest, sneak/crouch and crawl around till you see one. If you won't find the cat in 5 minutes - shoot some animals, ride away then return. Or re-enter the game till one will spawn.

Doing all sorts of tricks like rebooting, leaving the zone, specifically planting a predator on the bait, setting up a camp, it just does not appear. Circles around and within the entire area on horseback do not yield anything. Some boars grunt)))

if it's only boars that show up, I guess you are just using normal predator bait instead of potent predator bait, right?

The bait is strong and easy to use and set up camp, and slept. None of this helps

bait questions:

1) how do you tell the difference between regular and potent bait when you check your satchel?

2) If you place bait and leave to return later, how do you know the bait hasn't been taken in the meantime? I've placed PB and immediately after I lay it down, I can't see it.

Hunting a panther is a ♥♥♥♥♥. Fortunately, the legendary panther is easier.

There is an exact point of the map where they respawn.

Just follow that video and you should be fine.

If you have some balls, I'd just get deep into the woods with my horse and keep using Dead Eye constantly to find him. Potent predator bait is kinda buggy tbh. But it's really easy to make it if you need it; I think you just need berries and gritty fish meat (you can obtain it from bluegills, channel catfish, bullhead catfish and lognose gar). If you go to the panther location, you have a lake next to it and if you didn't get the fishing pole yet, just shoot the fishes on the water and grab some.

I followed the instructions in the video and it worked perfectly. Twice, once the Florida Panther and second time the "normal" panther

panther spawns are very very rare!

In story mode got a 3 star florida panther in the woods south of Braithwaite manor, with potent predator bait.

Online I was attacked by a panther in that area west of Blackwater, with the little waterways and bridges, but that was the only panther I've ever seen online.

Agreed, panthers are rare, I've seen and been attacked by one in all my online playing time.

I'm wondering if animals corpses are good at attracting predators..I know they often attract crows.

Yeah, I tried to lure a panther once with a boar corpse, but no luck.
