Collection sets
Worth it to sell them as a set or just sell as you go?

If you have the time, get the entire set.

Otherwise, if you don't have much time, just sell what you have.

The sets are worth more, but of course, you have to actually get all of the items in the set to have a set, meaning that you could easily have a ton of collectibles and no sets, because you're missing one of two items in each set. I think that most of the people who manage to complete sets with any regularity are looking up where to find stuff online. I haven't done that yet, and the only set that I've managed to complete in close to two weeks of playing online was the weekly set this week. I have lots of sets which are missing one or two items (even several copies of sets which are missing one or two items).

Pay attention to stacked items. You can have a maximum of 10.

I regularly sell items to keep each objects' stack at 5 max (eggs and plants can easily reach 10).

I've sold a lot of collections (outlaw pass helped a lot).

Think im just gonna sell what I find as I go then.
Sounds like a little too much effort because she would need to sell the map I need to finish a set here and there and I might not get that exact map

Well, you do sometimes get maps elsewhere, but you get a lot of collectibles just by wandering around in the game or looting bodies (you do have to go into eagle eye on a regular basis to find them, but it's not usually hard). So, the maps don't seem to buy you much. If they favored showing you where to find what you were missing, then they'd definitely be of value, but they just show you where to find more of a particular kind of collectible, and you're likely to find a lot of those on your own. The trick is to somehow find the rarer collectibles that finish out sets, and I don't know of any easy way to do that other than to look up their possible locations online, which I may break down and do eventually, but I'd prefer no to. So, it may very well just make more sense to sell them rather than trying to get full sets. They _are_ worth a decent amount of money on their own. Either way, just finding collectibles as you wander around will likely increase you collector rank fairly quickly. IIRC, I'm at collector rank 19, and I've just finished that one weekly set. If I stopped holding out for full sets, I'd probably make a fair bit of cash, whereas thus far, I've spent more money on the collector role than I've earned.

There are 3-5 collectible eggs in some nests, I sell those separately. Same for excessive flowers (cardinal, rhubarb).

Item in sets cost ~1.5 times more + output 1500xp on top. Also you can send sets by mail. I wish this could be an option for other professions...

You get so much sht from the outlaw pass i dont really do the collectibles only from looting and have most sets almost finished missing 2-3 mostly from outlaw pass alone.
