Missing clothes

So I recently made some special clothes from legendary fur at a trapper and I instantly wore them after crafting it, which already is kinda inconvinient. But nevertheless after some time I changed my clothes at the camp and I was wondering where the clothes were that I made at the trapper. I coudnt find either the hat I made nor the coat. Am I just stupid because im missing something or is there any specail mechanic on how to store and find them. Any tipps or advices?

It's under the "crafted" tab in your clothes menu. Press LB or RB to switch between tabs or it's pc equivalent

I'm having this problem with my first Trapper crafted hat. (Pioneer Accessory) I leave the Trapper wearing it but as soon as I change into something else it's gone.

I've read multiple threads telling me to check different tabs in my camp inventory. I have checked and there are no hats under the crafted hats tab. I also bought some chaps and those do show up in the chaps tab, but the hat tab is empty. It is also not on the horse. I have tried (several times) at both the camp and rented rooms.

The only way I can wear this hat is to make the long journey to a Trapper then equip it. Once I change clothes again it's gone.

I read a post saying it was under an "accessories tab" but I could never find such a tab. I actually painstakingly checked every clothes possible category-even boots-looking for it with no luck.

Any ideas?

Later I found this hat. It is now called "Arthur's Gambling Hat" in the camp screen instead of the original crafted name. However, on the horse it is still Pioneer Accessory.

This game has a strange inventory system, but it's a small complaint. Overall, the game is excellent!
