I'm new to RDR2 PC I keep failing because I don't know the Mouse & Keyboard combination keys to succeed on those challenges :-(

It should show you what key to press in the bottom right, usually youhave to hit the key repeatedly and quickly to fill the gauge

The game design in the area of special actions is horrible.

Each time a "special action" occurs, there is a chance it uses different keyboard keys and button press controls, even from the last time you did the exact same action (like "pull").

Expect to have to watch the bottom right of you screen, and expect there are two keys that you will need. Sometimes it is press & hold one or tap one, or press and hold one while press and hold a second, or tap the second. Very bad design.

tip:
in the settings you can also change the "tap button" to "hold button" so you won't have to tap your keys like a maniac ;)

most of the time it is either the "F" or (and this was some genius that forgot about the windows sticky function) "Shift" key

Why don't you mind your own Friggin' Business and cease being a Trumbuttlicker. RDR is being purchased every day by customers young and old. If you can't provide an honest polite solution to a new user of a game, stay out of the conversation. Better still, go look in a mirror and smash the glass with your face. Then you'll have something better to respond to.
