PSA modders can now escape reinforced lasso.
So there I was looking through menus in Saint Denis, and I overheard my character being lassoed. I kind of chuckled to myself like "You must think I'm stupid". So I cut free real quick and then I proceeded to hogtie him and as he was on the ground 1 foot in front of me hogtied I proceeded to unload 4 slugs from my repeating shotgun into his body. His health did not drop at all (invincible) and he then proceeded to escape and one shot me.

Then when I respawned I proceeded to use buildings as a means of getting close to him and I then used a bolas on him he escaped immediately and I was like ok so you got quick reflexes. Then I proceeded to pull out my REINFORCED LASSO and lassoed him on the ground immediately after the bolas and he still escaped instantly. He then kills me again.

When I respawn the final time I do the same thing use the buildings as cover to close the distance he calls for his horse after escaping my first bolas. Once he's mounted I use my reinforced lasso and it pulled him off his horse, and he miraculously breaks free so i threw it again a second later same thing. He kills me.

At this point I knew the lowlife was cheating so I proceeded to look at his profile and try to report him there is no option for reporting someone for cheating, As I was doing this he decides to lasso me again so I just Alt+F4 at that point.

Beware people not even reinforced lassos can stop them now!

Um, didn't the whole invincible thing already give that away? I would have thought that that was a far bigger deal than being able to escape the reinforced lasso. Given what some of these guys are doing, I would have thought that issues with the lasso were pretty low on the list of things to worry about. I'd say that if someone does something that's obviously impossible within the way the game normally works, then just report them and get away from them.

Yes I knew when I shot him that he was cheating. YES. However reinforced lassos can be a great tool for teaching them a lesson because it "WAS" one of the only things they could not prevent and you could troll them and throw them off a cliff or drown them ect. Which bypasses their invincibility.

Another thing...how exactly do you report someone in game? As far as I can see you can only report someone for inappropriate avatar or name. I'm not jumping on forums every time I spot a cheater. Rockstar is at fault here really. Given that fact that we have no invite only sessions this game is gonna be seriously screwed whenever online mod menus become readily available.

Go into the player menu (where you can find stuff like the daily challenges). In there is the option to look at the list of players in the session. If you click on one of them, one of the options you have is to report them.

Alternatively, you can report people via rockstar's support page - https://support.rockstargames.com/categories - but they clearly prefer that you report people in-game (presumably, because then it's easier to find the player and the relevant logs, since it can all be automatically linked together that way).

Thanks for the information. I did not know that. I was trying to use the social club menu to report.

Mind sharing how you did this?

If you have the knife in your hand when you are lassoed, then you can cut yourself out instantly, but I never heard of doing it after being lassoed...

There is a prompt to tap R fast to break free when hog tied by a non reinforced lasso.

Be very sure the player wasn't just skilled before throwing accusations ... and there is an "ability card" that lessen "each shot" damage as long as the shots are hit within 10sec, and another "ability card" that offers the hat to take one "headshot" damage.

There are players who are on the discussion invulnerability even while the are running and are hostile.

NO! This person escaped in less than "1 second" multiple times one after the next from an reinforced lasso. His health did not move at all (he had full health) when shot POINT BLANK 1 foot away with slugs while hogtiied on the ground. NO he was cheating period.

Also when I say one after the next I mean "he instantly breaks free" then I throw the reinforced lasso again a second later and he breaks free instantly again.
