Problem with switching to DX12
Hello all. If I set DirectX 12 in graphics settings and restart the game after that - API will be Vulkan.
If change it in settings.xml and lanch game - it also will be Vulkan and changed to Vulkan in the settings filter after leaving the game. So, there is any way to enable DX12?

The video card is RX 5700 XT.

Sure not :) I can change it and the value saves. But when I exit from the game - there is Vulkan again :(
Ok, I set DX12 as API in settings.xml, set the file to read-only, enter the game - and there is Vulkan in the in-game settings!
I exit from the game and check settings.xml - there is DX12. Maybe there is another config place now? I edit my own in My Documents -> Rockstar Games -> Red Dead Redemption 2 -> Settings
Any advice?

Try to switch API to DX12 in the system.xml (not only in settings.xml) found in the same folder.
Ok, I just reinstall it and now settings saves ok. Thanks all for help.
