Should I stick to revolvers or should I get pistols? (RD:O)

I got some spare money and I wonder if I should spend it on the new guns. All this time I used only revolvers. Any tips from fellow cowpokes out there?

I love using the cattleman's Revolver and the Volcanic pistol together. Best combo tbh for a dueller.

I'm using dual Volcanic Pistols purely because I got them for free with the Ultimate edition, I do miss being able to fan a revolver though.

If you have GTA , you can get the Navy revolver for free by solving a murder online (GTA), that's a good revolver + it'll be free, other than that i always use my trusty volcanic

Defo get a rifle. You need it to hunt big game anyway to get 1 shot kills.

Im good with rifles :) the pistols are the only thing that I consider buying.

I can't decide whether revolvers or pistols are better. They both take a stupidly long time to reload in comparison to the repeaters and rifles. The volcanic pistol does hold more bullets than most of the revolvers though. The LeMat holds 9, but it's also a bit bizarre in that it also holds a shotgun round. I know that some folks like it, but I have yet to try it. Most of the time, I prefer to use the repeater carbine to either the pistols or revolvers (especially since it takes less time to reload _and_ it holds more than most of the revolvers - 7 bullets).

Scofield revolvers are good. atleast dont but Mauser pistol. price is too high for that bad gun..

Don't Freeget wielding duel LeMat's you have 2 shotgun rounds each its like a double barrel shotgun while with both guns you have 18 rounds total plus the 2 shotgun rounds on horse back these guns are extremly Deadly sense you can fire 2 shotgun rounds almost same time instant kill any thing and the revolver rounds fire close to the cattleman revolver rate of fire it also has the longest distance range of all pistols and revolvers and can almost have perfect accurate like 3.9 the damage can be 3.0 or so.

With duel wielding perk card as well you have perfect accuracy and even higher damage close to 4.0 damage from the pistol rounds so the LeMat's Recolver duel wielding can be far stronger specialy when you consider duel wielding LeMat's pistol with duel wielding perk card with the shotgun rounds witch count to the duel wielding perk card.

Also if you use the perk card sprinting reduced your damage and the duel wielding perk card with the LeMat's Pistols you can make it so hard for other players to hit and npcs and hurt you while u can sprint at them firing your pistols like a crazy person and once close the distance if there still alive shotgun them before having to reload.

im years late but i can still comment, i would say pistols are good for call to arms or missions that have multiple spawning enemies, for example if you do legendary bounties on the highest difficulty you will end up having enemies that spawn rapidly and eventually they will stop if you kill all of them but for situations like that you would want to use a mauser or semi auto since they reload quicker than any revolver. when it comes to revolvers id say something simple like free roam since stuff on there doesnt spawn infinite or alot of enemies. personally for me i like the semi auto pistol and for revolvers depends on what i feel that day a cattlemans revolver or a scholfield revolver with that livery from the outlaw pass that looks like dutches revolver.
