So this is how i always do it and i shoot a panther 80-90% of the time.
1. I come down the road that goes through the "W" in Meadows. And right before the road splits at the bottom i park my horse in a few trees on the left.
2. Then i cover myself in scent blocker and i sneak into the woods on the right side of the road. Always crouching. I usually see the panther at some point now, but if i don't, i go in a little bit, not far, just maybe 30-50 meters or so and i place predator bait.
3. Then i step maybe 15-25 meters back and i just sit completely still and wait. Once i see it i shoot it in the head with an improved arrow using deadeye just to be sure.
The only time this doesn't work for me is when the panther doesn't seem to have respawned yet which it needs a few days to do.
