300$
You get around 7$ per bounty mission which takes around 10 minutes.
You get around 13-14$ per PvP match which takes around 10 minutes.
Add waiting times and traveling. You need to play around 5-6 hours on average IF you're farming and not fooling around. So yeah I have the right to call BS on this challenge here when Rockstar are making us spend our money. For what? Only to buy their BS microtransactions after we run out of cash.
Anyway, my main question was about the Butcher's Table.
You get treasure maps every 5 levels.
The further you progress in the game the less frequent you will "Level up 5 times" so later on you will find it more difficult to collect gold.
Sure, I'm just saying that to get the game mechanics rolling you only need to play the game. If you wan't endlessly customize your game or get all the professions going you will game longer and grind more. But is that even required. I just try to enjoy the game. Get a good rifle, good pistol on my side, fishing rod on my back and wagon for my camp. I'm a simple woman in the west, I game for the experience, not grind for the accessories.
Rockstar seems to have a different promotion going every week to reduce the cost of certain items and/or increase how much XP you get from certain stuff, and they've also sometimes had other promotions in addition to those which last for varying lengths of time, since they're not part of the weekly cycle (e.g. they've had promotions related to enabling two factor authentication on your Rockstar account or linking your Twitch Prime account to your Rockstar account). In some cases, promotions have made a role cheaper or even temporarily made it free. So, depending on when you were looking, you may have seen a role cost less than the normal 15 gold bars (or 25 for moonshiner), but if you see them cost less, it's because of a promotion of some kind, not because the price is normally lower.
As for the dailies, you don't have to complete them all. You only have to finish one daily on any day to maintain a streak. Doing them all is nice for the bonus gold, but you don't have to do it. If you don't want to buy the theme this day, then don't and just ignore the small amount of gold. You will get plenty more gold later.
More importantly, if you do buy a theme now, or whatever else you need during an objective, you now have the alternative you need to swap later when the objective comes up again, in most cases you don't have to buy a new one to get it to work, just switch between things you do own.
They may be greedy, but after you have played for a week or two, you will have the options to bypass the extra expenses.
