If you could describe the issues you're having folks might be able to help.
To play the game or even without trying to load the game.
When you try to load / start the launcher it freezes on "Connecting to Rockstar Games Services".
Window is called "StartupWindow" (Not responding) - Black Square.
And like I said it's a fresh install.
@Arson
I opened a Touble Ticket to Rockstar Support, including Log files and system/graphics infos.
It's still open after 1 week. No answer yet.
From Steam seems like I played more than one hour, but it's not true: simply it counts even the loading time, but i used such amount of time only for trying different configurations and started to load the game.
Good luck... we can say just this to each other
Perhaps.
I've not even gotten to the part of the "Loading logos / screen / video" of the actual game.
Heck not even the game trying to load.
Got to love DRM
And then "Congrats your game didn't crash for 2 hours"
Why would I use that at all?
And it can't really justify the launcher working after.
I give up.
Change the default Rockstar launcher install directory from 'C:\Program Files...' to anything else.
I chose just 'C:\Rockstar Games'. This is just for the launcher, the game itself can be installed wherever you like.
(it apparently had a problem with administrator rights in the 'Program Files' directory...or something)
