Way to drop or store weapons?

I'm into chapter 4 by now and I'd like to get rid of e.g. my cattleman revolver and some other weapons which I never use so I have to scroll less.
Is there a way to drop weapons to get rid of them or store them somehow or even sell them?

So far googling didn't yield any results, however, maybe they implemented a way with the PC Version now?

scripthook cheat lets you drop all weapons SP only.

I'm talking about if it is possible in Vanilla, I'm not interested in installing any cheats.

There is a weapon chest for the camp to store your weapons. But I saw that online, don't know if that exist on singleplayer.

There is a trainer program that is safe for story mode and must be deleted when you want to play online. So, here is https://www.mod-rdr.com/files/file/7-lennys-simple-trainer/. You need to copy all files in game directory, take in hand weapon you want to drop, press F5 and choose Weapon category -> Drop.
