Daily Mission...

Follow a dog to something interesting. 0/1

I have done this twice randomly over the past two WEEKS...so out of 14 days I have ran into this random stranger mission in the middle of nowhere only twice. I just ran around most of the map for over an hour with no joy.

Is there anything that triggers this? How can something that happens so rare be a daily? This is almost as bad as having the posse versus missions for a daily when they had posse versus disabled.

Only responses I got regarding this were "daily 'pet a dog'" and one post with a few people discussing the creepy things the dog has led them to. (Corpses with glowing eyes...a dead body and the dog being told "Good boy....now attack!"

I'm at a loss for this daily...

There are online maps for spots where it can spawn. . .

The only maps I saw showed spots where you could find dogs to 'pet'...guess I will look again.

As to the other d-bag...don't post if you are going to rude, harass, or not-helpful. I will block and report as usual.

EDIT: Did another search and checked what was close to begin relevant and found no such maps.Maybe they were removed due to an update changing their locations.

the only thing that could maybe help that i saw is about changing lobby to one where there less but that didnt help me find the dog x.x

Thank you Crippled. I am sure I will find the map useful eventually. Unfortunately, upon closer inspection I saw nothing relating to the location of 'dogs that lead you to something interesting'

Sorry to Necro. Wanted to clarify with jeanropke map you go to Random encounters (under Free Roam … and above Animals,) then enable Dog Encounter. (Doesn’t help with getting it to actually spawn, but it’s a nice tour of the country.)
