not sure what the hell you are saying but no you have to take tonics after lvl 8 to get to lvl 10 take 3 at a time then abuse the hell out of the carage system each ride takes days to get accross the map and that will make the beard growth time go by faster

Just takes lots of time and hair tonics, you can have a level 10 beard before doing a single mission in chapter 2 if you're patient enough.

Hair tonics decrease the time before the next beard length is achieved and is required for any length after 7 or 8 (can't remember which, sorry) as your beard will no longer just naturally grow with time after reaching that level of thickness.

Tonics also stack, so buying a bunch and drinking them all will lower the time it takes your beard to grow more and more.

You must take more tonic after your beard has reached a new level however, as it resets the tonic bonus after your beard goes up a level.

As both here already said. Take multiple tonics at the same time, then either sleep a lot or take a stagecoach to a far away destination, like for example Annesburg to Strawberry.

aite bois thx but its so hard to get my beard to lvl 8 after it doesnt grow normally and u have to use tonic ♥♥♥♥ i drank like 35 maybe more tonics [slept everytime i drank 3] and its still at lvl 7 ffs

takes 8 weeks in game to get from 8 to 10.

welp i jus spend 1 hour or somethin doin the same ♥♥♥♥ drinkin 3 hair tonics buyin 3 goin to straw berry from saint denis and comin bak and doin the same thing and i got from lvl 7 to 8 around 20 or 10 mins in then it jus got stuck on 8 how much more do u think i have to spend in order to get to hagrid lvl beard

PSA for anyone still trying to do this.. the 3 hair tonics work until the next length grows, so you dont have to spam them. only need them past 7, that part seems widely known.

The fastest way to do it is take the stage between strawberry and van horn, sleeping the max amount in camps on either end. I got it to 9 and then 10 in about 40 minutes of doing this. works in all chapters, isnt locked to the later ones. for a long time id max it to 8 throughout the game, and keep drinking tonics and sleeping and wondering why it wasn't working. 26 in-game days i think the chart says, as i found out.

it just takes a lot longer than you think.

One thing to note... The tonics only stack effects up to 3 times, and they don't wear off until your beard grows. So if you drink any more than 3 before your beard grows again, you're just wasting them.
