Keep guns on back?

Is there any way to keep your guns equip on your back at all times? i know if you go to a gun store you can click on them and set them to either your shoulder or back but the moment i get back on my horse i automatically store everything back on the horse and have to re-equip everything all over again

Well, you could just keep a gun equipped in your hand at all times, which prevents the animation for putting your guns away on your horse.

Otherwise, no, you'll have to re-select them every time you want to get off your horse.

No, there isn't.
IN online play, when you dismount, they magically teleport from saddle to your back.
In sintle player, however, your character will stuff them under saddle at the earliest opportunity, and after dismount he will only have sidearms.

No, there isn't.
IN online play, when you dismount, they magically teleport from saddle to your back.
In sintle player, however, arthur will stuff them under saddle at the earliest opportunity, and after dismount he will only have sidearms.

You might want to edit that a bit for spoilers.

What does it spoil for you? It's a game mechanic, not a part of the story.

Its really annoying when ur on a mission, horse disapears due to mission, and you’re stuck with 2 sawed off shotguns to say, shoot ppl from a train...

I sometimes have the feeling, that two different teams developed Story and Online, because this works in Online (atleast it is a magical teleportation solution) and there is no mechanic like this in Story Mode.

I usually travel with my main and permanent-temporary horse. If I only mount the temporary one, the guns remain on me, and if I want something from the saddle I just walk up to my main and take what I need.

This works just fine during long trips when I am just exploring/hunting and don't need to switch equipment for a long time.
