Unreported glitch for RDR2 in The Artists Way quest?

Don't know if anyone else has come across this yet but here goes.

In "The Artist's Way" side quest after the fist fight in the gallery i tried to do some quick looting and upon opening a drawer and reaching for a coin purse the game totally glitched out graphically and shutdown automatically and my save file is now corrupted and i now cannot continue.

Is it possible to access a previous save without accessing Story mode in the main menu or am i screwed?

I think once your save is corrupted it's just gone.
I use the manual save and I make 2 of them each time.......just in case.

Thanks for the reply but thankfully i found a solution.
I went digging into my user files and found the folders with saves.
After deleting the latest saves I started the game again and clicked story mode and it loaded
the game fine.
Just need to find out if my greed got the better of me or if it was something else that bummed out.
