I run other games quite well, but this game need both the screen 4k cinematic and the card, which is quite alot for me. And i don't want to pay 300 euro for a new card.

So 2 GB of VRAM. Basically you just don't want to exceed that threshold of 2 GB. RDR2 will actually tell you how much you're using currently, so you can adjust based on that.

As for graphics settings, you can change whichever you feel is more important first, textures, anti-aliasing, shadows, grass, water, or whatever else. It's up to you for what you want to enable, though you most likely won't get all of them, you could try to balance them out as best you can.

If you wanna push the graphics you'll have to lower you're resolution. All VRAM does is make textures look crisp. Don't exceed the Vram bar and you're good. If you do the game will more than likely crash. Keep everything on medium and should be good.

I'm pretty sure you mean 2Gb Vram because you must be truly r3tarded to believe the game would even start with 2gb ram. I have 3Gb vram and I keep most of the options to medium to high-ish since that is the sweet-spot to be able to get 55-60 fps.
Just play with the options and find what fits for you.

To be fair, VRAM doesn't really matter unless you're exceeding it, even then you most likely won't encounter an instance where it's all being used unless it's massively exceeding your limits.

2GB Ram will not give you "full detail". And make sure you are not running higher than 1080P or it's going to run like BAD garbage. It will run like garbage at 1080p as well tbh.

It does matter, its not all about the total memory, it depends on what you are doing in game too, location, number of NPCs on-screen, etc. You can have only 50% in use and still get some fps spikes or framedrops if you are in a crowded area.
