Perfect wolf!?

I killed about 20-30 wolfs in this game...always 2 stars or 1 star. What do i have to do to encounter a 3 star wolf? I kill them with perfect headshot with a rifle (lancaster rifle). I kill most of the animals with the Lancaster Rifle (except very small animals) and i have no problems with 3 star deers and other medium size animals...but wolfs...that is a "no go" for me.

EDIT: Finally i got a 3 star wolf pelt....by using a real "Rifle (Bolt)" that makes more damage then my repeater...and that is strange...maybe a bug. Anyone have the same problem...use a "rifle" instead of a "repeater". Thanks to all the tips and comments in this thread!

from my understanding when animal spawns they spawn with either poor, good or perfect pelt which u can tell by aiming at them in eagle eye or dead eye or prolly witohut those two asd well in bottol left or rgith or somewhere indicated by 1,2 or 3 stars near to aniamls name. So if u encounter wolfs and shot everoyne in head with arrow or whatever makig sure not to dmg pelts u still have 0% chanc eof getting perfect pelt if none of those wolfs Had perfect pelts on their body whislt they were alive. Just go ou huntign and aim at aniamls form long distance and chekc ur bottom right corner or soemhwer eull see animal name and whta grad eof pelt they have. At least I think thats the case. Seems liek it for sure

Umm? no, I tohught theyre one inthe same lol. Ill chekc aroundsome but i dont think theres seperate forums cuz it'sone product when bought.

There is not a seperate forum. Though I do suggest always mentioning whether you are SP or Online when asking for assistance or confused.

You can still do it, just like u can get a 3-star on rabbit. But correct weapon will increase your chances of leaving it 3-star.
