As a single player creating a Permanent posse ?
Any benefit From starting a permanent posse as a single player?
(Any disadvantage?)

I got no mic so I am playing as a lonesome cowboy :-)

Got this „permanent posse“ voucher and thinking about using it ????

Edit:

I was not quite sure if there is any option I will loose when buying Like :

a)
cannot join a temporary posse of someone else for fun anymore

b)
Cannot create a temporary posse anymore

c)
Players I have invited to perm posse cannot be kicked out anymore ? Is that true?

Just wondered
which options I gain
Which options I maybe loose
Starting a permanent posse and maybe not using it ....as it supposed to.

I think permanent posse are for fixed groups. If you find some nice people, you will have advantage to earn more stuff and have easier quests, if you find bad people you could either get griefed or newbies not knowing how to handle a gun, if you get really bad people you might get teleported and blown up. I guess most permanent posses are people in gaming clans or friends, who use voip. I myself did not join a posse because of not using a mic. It somehow kills the flair I experience and the only reason to use mic is coordinating pvp or simultanious shots at animals for example. I wish I had a good posse, but if I would be forced to use mic and sacrifice my "roleplay" experience, I better stay alone.

where did you get permanent posse voucher? and what happens if you want to do a quest of someone in the posse that isnt leader?

AFAIK, permanent posses can be up to 7 players (with a large camp), while regular posses can only be 4 players.
I could be wrong though.

Players that have joined (or got invited) once, stay listed and can join again (without invitation even, I believe).
They also get a global notification whenever the leader restarts the permanent posse again (in any session I think).

The thing is, a permanent posse costs a couple hundred $$$, so this voucher is definitely useful.

I think I got it either from the Ultimate Edition, or from the Outlaw Pass 2.

AFAIK, when in a posse, only the leader can start things like trader or moonshiner delivery missions, resupply or bootlegger missions, or (legendary) bounty hunts.
Posse members get paid some money, but essentially work for their leader in those missions.

Players joining a posse will have their tent moved to the leader's camp, and I noticed that they can donate to the leader's butcher table (fulfilling daily challenges for themselves though).

I have never tried any of the main story or moonshiner story missions though, but since they are separete instances, and not in free roam, I guess if the leader starts one, he can simply invite all his posse members.
No idea if the whole posse automatically joins them.

Having a persistent posse is definitely usefull, as you don't have to type in all settings when creating a new one all the time.
You just reopen it, and can stand down at any time.

tbh there's no reason not to use the voucher, use it to make a perm posse that never goes away for free and just join the posse when you decide to team up, I'd say you should consider getting one if you had to buy it but if you have that free voucher you might as well no reason not to tbh or just hold onto the voucher I guess either way there's no harm in using it or not using it tbh

Indeed.
The voucher has an expiration date most likely, so you should definitely use it.

why you so gung ho about this posse? just to use up your voucher? You admitted you don't have a mic? so you gonna have great difficulty communicating with your boys. And the guys that do get a random invite will soon realize same thing and most likely move on.

How does perm posse payment work? Do you pay once and it's done or do you pay every ingame day when you play like camp and stables? If I use the benefit 100% discount I got for permanent posse will I ever be charged for that posse? Can I add and remove members? Can there be like 7+ members so if there's more then 7 members online the rest will have to wait for an opening?

Yes, it's a one-time payment, like horse/vehicle insurance.

Yes, the leader can kick any member.

There can only be 7 active members, but I don't know if 7+ members can stay on the "waiting list".

One reason to create a permanent posse even though it's essentially useless to you is the fact that there is unfortunately an achievement for creating a persistent posse, so anyone who wants to get all of the achievements is going to have to do it at some point. I really wish that games wouldn't have achievements that had anything to do with multiplayer...
