Is the ultimate edition worth it?

I'm planning on getting this game but was wondering which edition I should choose, any help is appreciated.

you don't own the game yet, easy none of them are worth it if you planning on buying for the online part!
if you only interested for the sp, just buy the base game.

if you play online, so yes in some way, you see some item always free if you keep delete and make new game, overtime save your money, time, ect, so I think it's worth it. Because you had to rebuy, even some gold all over again. Free fast horse is always welcome everytime you delete and start over new game.

The Special Edition adds only bonus stuff for single player.
The Ultimate Edition adds the above and also stuff for multiplayer in RDO.

For single player you can disable some of the bonuses in the options menu if you don't want to "cheat", but I can't remember which.

The bank robber mission and the hideout for single player are exclusive extra content, everything else is acquirable sooner or later, or is just cosmetic.

The Ultimate Edition will get you extra bonuses over time in RDO, which are not mentioned anywhere.

I got some consumables and ammo once.
Someone else supposedly even got a free horse some months ago.

I had UE, but I don't recall extra bonues overtime? what do you mean by that? I thought it's apply for everyone, no matter what a version.

Ultimate edition get extra stuff like benefits or parcels for online as well, but it's really not worth it imo.

lol, last week UE ownwrs got several vouchers in Online... 2 free fast travel, a free horse and 2x 30% (50$ each) discount on a new stable spot. PLUS free ammo and goodies, like cooking/selling stuff.

Don't get the game at its current state. Both Story mode and Online are a buggy crashfest. Wait for Rockstar to optimize them.

I'm very positive that in the beginning I got one of the splash screens saying something like "ongoing Ultimate Edition bonuses".

Unless they specifically changed that wording for every edition to make people feel special...

Maybe they got a diff. horse etc. I cant remember what free one they’re giving, it wasnt that great. Thought it was from the 40g pass.

Nah, I definitely got that splashscreen with "ongoing bonus stuff" at the beginning, after 2-3 days, at the same time when I got the 10 gold and raccoon hat for having 2FA activated.

I didn't have the 40 gold for the outlaw pass until 8 days later.
