Scrawny Nag

I bought a horse, but can never use it. It now says it's not available and I get a nag. Sometimes I get my horse but not usually. Just another unfixable bug from Rockstar?

Make sure that your horse is uninjured and has a saddle on it. If it's injured, and you don't have insurance for it, then you have to pay for it to be healed. If it doesn't have a saddle on it, then it can't leave the stable.

Go in the stables and put a sadle on your main horse.

I go to the stable, ride out on my horse no problems. He shows up sometimes, often in missions. Other times not. I see a lot of ppl ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about a horse bug like this in the threads...

You have to PURCHASE AND EQUIP a SADDLE. I learned this after about 10 hours of fighting with the nag. I got the first horse from the story mission but it came with a saddle. Didn't realize that I had to purchase my own. Once I purchased myself a saddle from the stable, my horse ALWAYS came with me and I have never gotten a nag again. One hint: if you can afford it, purchase a second horse AND saddle. If first horse is killed it is unavailable for a time but you can call a different horse IF you own one.

are you talking about red dead online? if so go to side-menu and scroll down to 'Stables' >> 'Horses' you should be able to see what horses you have saved there and if they are currently on cooldown (healing) or not, and summon them from that menu
