Is moonshine Role worth it?
Hey guys i'm about level 15 in my game and currently using the bounty and trader role to have fun as i play solo mostly and trying desperately to make some big money. I'm level 5 in trader which takes alot of grind and level 1 in bounty as i only like doing a few at a time otherwise i get bored so i was wondering to mix things up is the moonshine worth it? Does it add much more replay value and is the money good?

I have heard the bar you can get makes NO money and the shack YOU pay for isn't even yours so i'm quite skeptical, Rockstar don't want us to have any stake in this world by owning anything which kind of bothers me

like most things, a lot f the things you can purchase with the moonshiner upgrades are just for show. It would all be well and good if the game was meant for Role play. but it ain't.

How ever in saying that, upgrading the moonshine still is worth it. with the tier 3 upgrade, you pay $50 for mash (same cost no matter the tier) but every 46 minutes you get a $246 turn in.. providing you flavour the Shine.. which is easy as ♥♥♥♥ to do.

Unlike the Camp, the Moonshine Shack is a fixed position, naturally if you join a posse you get the posse leaders map, camp and moonshine shack etc. The Real problem is none of your stuff progresses in a party.

The first role everyone should purchase is collector - to get rid of money problems.

All other roles are good only for cosmetics and entertainment - so yes, moonshiner worth it since there are cosmetics + entertainment.

collector is great if you want to roleplay an asian gold farmer. most authentic feel of working in a sweaty internet cafe grinding money by following a website and going to various spots.

moonshiner is the best for solo money grind, and you do own the shack idk what you are talking about, its your own little safe space. i put mine in a high traffic area and there's always something goign on outside.. one time a lowbie trader was passing through, i ignored him, but some high lvl dude came and killed him so i went outside and sniped him 3 times. then ran back into the shack.

If you own it how come you can't camp there? Also the bar isn't yours as you don't make an income from it. It's purely cosmetic, i feel that was the worst decision as it detaches you from caring about it. Also you do know that the moonshine building will be used by players all over the map who also have theirs located in the same place as yours, in other words you share the building. All you are doing is having a share in a business. There certainly doesn't feel like any individuality to it

You dont share the shack its just how online has to be designed. Like in gta5 apartments there like tons of people owning the same and mansion but its not like you all live in the same room lmao.

They changed the cycles adding more cycles and moved locations so those videos are likely outdated

You can reduce the cost of mash down to a maximum of $10 by doing Bootlegger missions or moonshiner story missions.

To the OP: The Moonshine shack is very much worth it. You can make good steady money off of the deliveries. The bar is more for fun. You can get drunk by yourself or invite others. It's mainly for doing dailies and drinking the alcohol will buff your stats. Better quality alcohol gives better buffs.

I really enjoyed this role : best missions in my opinion and it 's really rewarding when you deliver your batch. Plus, yes, i love alcohol.
