Personally i had Ninja, Black Belt, Devout, Sage. Ninja and Black Belt just do damage, Devout spammed curaga/ja on all my party and most of the time it was enough to keep everyone topped off. Sage would either cast flare or curaga/ja if my devout was having trouble keeping up with the healing last turn.
You may also want to lvl up a bit, a couple of lvls can do a huge difference.
I did beat the game since the last post, but I thought maybe any strategy to resist Quakes and Meteors (and particle beams) would help other people too
For detailed info, I had a level 52 party of 1 Ninja and 3 Sages, each Sage representing each school of magic, and just spammed Bahamur and Leviath, Flare and Bio, while keeping up with heals with Curaja and Curaga, typically use on lowest health party members, but sometimes sprinkle a party heal if whole party HP gets low. TLDR I generally spam level 8 spells, and then swap to the level 7 spells once I run out of level 8 MP.
For Ninja, I had 4 Shurikens and used a single one on two of the bosses and the rest on the final boss. Then I just started attacking normally.
For the final boss, I mostly did the same exact thing, but exclusively used the aforementioned level 8 spells and Curaja'd the entire party every turn to counteract Particle Beam. After running out of level 8 MP, I'd spend a turn replenishing my three Sages with Elixirs. Ninja to replenish my healing Sage, my summoner and black mage Sages to replenish themselves, and my white mage Sage to cast Curaja on the party. I used a total of 6 elixirs out of my stock of 9. There is no better place to use your elixirs than the final boss, right?
The best thing you can do against it is make sure you have enough HP to survive it, and have a second healer if necessary.
The final boss was a tad different since with my limited healing I was able to throw an entire arsenal of shuriken
