Chest Achievement bugged?

I'm opening chests, having a grand old time- and upon looking, realized I haven't been Achievement credit for any of them. Any solutions?

You may have missed some in temporary places

typically people who didn't get the achievement simply missed a chest in a place like dreadnaught where you can't go back to later.

However if you know it failed to track a chest you legit opened, you can do a search for "steam achievement manager" and use that to adjust your tallies or straight up assign you the achievement if you think it really bugged out.

Thanks guys. I've been opening chests- but have credit for 0. That's why I was like, "okay, wtf" lol

To answer your question, yeah, I think the achievement *tracking* is just not hooked up - progress shows 0 for me as well, but that doesn't mean you won't get the achievement when your in-game numbers match the appropriate thresholds.

Mine showed zero until all of a sudden it jumped up to 49 and now it tracks right. Same thing happened in 1.

That's basically what happened. Out of nowhere I now have 31 opened chests, and I know I didn't open 31 in ONE sitting lol

Sometimes you just have to restart Steam, either by turning your PC off at some point or fully exiting Steam itself. It fixes a lot of weird tracking for achievements and also Workshop mod updates in general I find.
