Collection of Saga coming to steam in october...

If your not familiar with the saga games, these were final fantasy legend 1-3 put out on game boy mostly. There basically the predecessors to the saga frontier and romancing saga games. The third one in the series is my favorite due to time traveling in it.

well the first one on it is hardcore..they level like the saga games..equipment improves your stats. First one is hardcore, like you start out with 1 person and only like 500 gold... but the third one in the series is not bad, and probably my personal favorite of the collection.

Well as soon as they are done releasing the "garbage games" as you put it, they will only have dragon quest/warrior games left to put on here. Let them do it.

NOTE: It is possible there only exclusive for switch right now. I also want the kingdom heart games to come to steam too..gotta wait next year to see if they come, or else they only on epic store..

There is no DQ games, minus 11, on steam because the West, as a whole, doesn't care about DQ as much as it does about FF. Pretty simple.

Not true. Alot of us RPGERs would love to have access to older rpgs, and other types. Please show proof to backup your claim. In fact first rpg i ever played on nes was dragon quest 1. Then i played final fantasy 1.

If you need proof, just open your eyes. They have never pushed DQ nearly as hard as they have pushed FF. Want to know why that is? It's because the NES games were a flop in the US. Most of the Dragon Warrior one cartridges were given away for free with Nintendo Power. Maybe you're too young, but DQ has NEVER held even a fraction of the pull that FF has in the west.

They were given free? I paid 60 us dollars for one back in the day.

Well, they couldn't very well port the 3DS games to Steam. Nintendo wouldn't allow it. They would have to do new remakes and people don't really like the mobile versions of 1-3.

Uh why not? Yes, Nitnendo published them outside Japan, but they also published Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default, which got PC releases.

Hmmm... "*These titles have largely been faithfully replicated in their original forms, but several changes have been made to meet evolving cultural and social norms."

They look like just gameboy roms looking at the visuals in the video, but I guess they updated the translation maybe?

They changed the name for nuke to bomb or something generic..and changed a couple enemy names. I believe there is a full list of what was changed around...let me look it up.

One name change is the enemy terrorist to a different name for obvious reason..
