why doesn't custom games work for me and it says error when entering the game

Hi, are you connecting from Russia? It looks like the Russian government has done a new wave of blocks and it accidentally includes Slapshot (or on purpose, no idea).

The code for the staging servers is "qatestingstaging". The Slapshot Services for this environment are hosted in a different data centre so it makes sense that this could work if Russia didn't block this one.

It's the Russian internet blocking our servers, not something to do with Steam or anything we can control, sorry. You'll have to take it up with the organisation or government body blocking our systems.

Discord is blocked in Russia, to bypass the blocking they made a program that works specifically on Discord, but if you dig into the program files and add slapshot`s hosts there, it will work on it too. I picked the right hosts and everything works
