ONLY 50 FPS? Are U SERIOUS??
Hi Guys! I noticed that game dont even look with how it actually performs on my system. I have 13400F and 4070 12GB. With this setup I play all my games on ultra 2k settings and get 80 fps almost everywhere. But Im frustrating that this bench shows only 50 FPS INDOORS in native 2k rendering without upscaling, and there is only walls and couple of objects in the scene. Game dont have stunning graphics or breakthrough tech and I really dont see any reason why it works so bad. Any other game with better picture in scenes like this will show 120 fps on ultra. Developers must work hard with optimisation.

I’m not saying you have a hardware issue or anything, but my specs are lower than yours and when I set the graphics preset to Ultra at 2K res and ran the benchmark, my avg was above 60. Not sure if you were running anything in the background at the time or what, maybe Unreal just has an issue with your combo of specs.
running it on a rtx3080 10gb and ryzen 7 7800x3d. max settings and quality dlss. getting 85/ 80 / 117 average fps, and never dips under 70fps on minimum.
running very smooth and looks nice, espesially the Shaihulud.
u might need to check if something in windows or a HW bottleneck is making trouble for u.

its not about hardware, but of optimisation. its not good, that game runs well only with dlss feature enabled

native? or with dlss ON
I locked it at 60fps with Max settings dlss quality at 4k resolution. Got 60fps average on all scenes with a 58fps low in second scene.

4090 and Ryzen 7900x.

Turn off VSync if you have it on. I turned it on for the hell of it and went fom 185 fps to 68

with no Dlss my old card is still very stable att 54 / 60 / 80. every thing on max ofc. 1440p ultrawide. something seems off, u should be getting more fps. and i dont tink its about optimization

While in the benchmark you can see it read:

Unreal engine for the win.. if you want a game to look like their tech demos then you are gonna need a good computer

According to the benchmark sites, my CPU is slightly better than yours (i9-13900K), but we have same gcard. My Dune benchmark showed between 200-250 for all the scenes, Ultra settings. Kinda sounding like an issue on your end. Make sure your bios firmware, drivers, etc. is up to date. Make sure you don't have anything else running in the background, etc. or maybe you have virus/malware going on.

Seems like another 'great' showing form an UE title.

What's even more sad is that reading through this topic not only did people miss the 'no upscalling' part but are also either unaware or just ok with games needing all the help they can get, to run semi-descent, while not looking particularly great.

Welcome to 2025 PC gaming. Carmac was right, devs this days are hacks.

I got 100 FPS with 4070 ti in 4k ultra settings dlss balanced.
Apple Feb 25 @ 1:41pm
With everything on ultra I was getting average 170fps with 4090
This is UE5 and their overdraw issues, etc. Checkbox culture in development, just check "Lumen" and it's done, no optimization.

Bro, why aren't you using DLSS on Quality? I can understand disabling Frame Gen for acurate visuals but you are trying to run DLSS off?
