Screen Burn In during character creation
I spent about 30 minutes in the character creator and when i closed it... my screen was completely burned in showing all of the boxes etc still on screen. luckily my monitor has a burn in correction mode to help alleviate this issue but this is really poor optimization. This is an ASUS predator gaming monitor 240hz... I would not have expected this as I game on this thing somewhere about 8 hours a day and have never once had an issue...

This is a fair warning to anyone attempting to run the character creator demo...

never buy OLED .. OLED is built for being trashed after a few years of using ... or even earlier .. it tears off and burns in .. trash tech .. tech to trash .. no reliablity, no durability

buy and use IPS high-end high-tech only .. or even QLED ..
IPS is 9000 times more sharper than OLED and/or Mini-LED anyways ..

especially for gaming OLED should be a heavy no-go !! OLED as well as Mini-LED cause a very disturbing and distracting "blooming-effect", too .. especially around your white cursor on black background .. 100% no-go !!

i dont understand that hype about this experimental and unpolished OLED trash tech .. and Mini-LED

todays IPS screen tech is heavily polished, optimized and superior in all ways.
absolute perfectioned and high-end high-tech, and even uses less power while being sharp sharp sharp and very VEEEERY responsive

IPS, 100% DCI-P3, 500 cd/m², 240 Hz, G-SYNC ..
ezpz ..

Agree, for anyone still thinking of OLED. Ask yourself why there is no OLED office monitors. And TV makers loves it too, no TV gonna last 10+ years with OLED ;)
Got burn-in here as well, although admittedly I'm not sure whether it's "burn-in" or "image retention"

Hope to God it's the latter, because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would that be infuriating if it's not

Edit: Thankfully, it was an image retention thing. Had my monitor off for a little over 5 hours and it seems to have fixed itself.

Ahahahahaha

Get a grip. There's plenty of information out there showing for gaming OLED is absolutely fine.

And for picture quality it's unbeatable.
Images are also being retained on my monitor, hoping they fade into nothing.

Easy 30 minutes spent if not more OLED monitor no burn in. No problems

I had the same issue what the hell. I have a (VG27AQL1A).

!!!Temporary FIX!!: I ran a Screen Burn YouTube video for a few minutes and that seems to have somewhat fixed the issue.

Using IPS panel, ASUS TUF VG27A and had "burn in" even after a restarting the PC.
As I leave it going on desktop, outside of the creator, it is slowly disappearing. The character creator really does something horrible to the GPU. I noticed intense white flickering that got worse as time went on as well during creation.

GPU is NVIDIA RTX 3060
