That... is not how it works. I mean, by your standard, any PvP game that has any PvE in it is now a PvE game, because you would have to do PvE to get the most out of it.
It makes zero sense. It's an absurd take. You should delete your post.
I agree. considering $70 ,if not more is pretty me a standard price for a game today , needless to say ,if we add inflation comparing to when all games were $50, it should be $100 today , so $50 today is quite a good price.
Given I get this is probably one of the many visions Emperor Leto saw in his prescience?
Yeah this is gonna be cool. I'm absolutely sure we're gonna be a fever dream for that one prediction he had based on if he changed time just a bit.
Either way die hard Dune fans. Like those of us who have read every single book?
This is kinda a dream come true. So take my money Funcom.
what are you waiting for?
they got to make something more fun than crafting/political BS for pve end game
I really like this model personally, but it has to limit the microtransactions to cosmetics and things like additional storage space. It allows the game to also easily turn to free to play should it not attract a lot of players.
The same problem so many MMOs have had. It is a tough nut to crack and is something they really should have planned early in development. Of course, this is Funcom and they aren't exactly known for that sort of thing.
Most survival gamers don't care whether it's Dune Awakening, The Lord of the Rings, or Harry Potter MMO. They just want a good survival game.
If it will be buggy and lack PvE content, many players are going to pass on it. As I already said before, the average price for high quality survival games is $30, so for $50 this would need to be an exceptional survival game, and based on what I see at the moment, it does not look like so.
50 for Dune is borderline cheap. Its anything but a bad deal.
