10% It does nothing new but it is a fresh title.
10% Endgame seems interesting enough.
80% Every god forsaken player stopped to hey hello, interactions with players was 100% satisfying! They were nice and FUNNY. Ex: was crafting my sandbike when i hear "heloooooo" i look out the window some guy staring at me. Ended up having a chat and parted ways agreeing to both experience dying by a sandworm by the end of the beta. ( it was not a cinematic cutscene dying by it ), but it is fine because community wil carry this game IMHO.

that was actually the first thing i change i hate chats in mmos they absolute annoying af dont care what you have to say in game just let me play the chat is capping the half screen

I was darting a guy over and over again then suddenly he said i'm a player i was like woot, then he gave me tons of med kits and we loled.

the beta community was extremely friendly, even in pvp on the world i was on. i even built an out door purifier and gave it full public access and kept it full of water, had tons of great conversations around the "watercooler" with other players. sadly i dont think the general launch will be the same as it will bring alot of the truly toxic pvpers into the worlds. but one can hope.

Maybe MMO's are not for you? I personally had no chat covering my screen, haven't seen that since 2005 MMOs. Most interactions were over voice chat. Amazing fun.

I like the option to hide chat (so hopefully there is one). Sometimes I like to chat and be social but other times I like to just do my own thing without seeing text scrolling.

Time will tell, I guess. As long as there are 'block' options for the obnoxious individuals. Sadly, there are always at least a couple of those.

Chat is customization, I had to mute one person who had a open mic living near me, I heard some odd body functions firing off far to often and with lady Gaga playing in the background.

I spotted a player and he was running around looking at things, then he saw me crouched watching him... he shot at me so I ducked behind a pillar, but as soon as he came around the corner I just did the international sign of hello.... by jumping up and down on the spot lol...

crashed my bike into some random guys bike in there base, was trying to outrun the storm seen a garage door open, guy looked around i said hi and sorry about the parking, then asked him to open the gate so i could go after the storm went, very chilled dude

i heard a guy snoring into his mic lmao. i saw him just standing in the middle of his partly built base under an overhang.. with loud snoring lmao i tried shouting to wake him up but didnt work. so i walked in next to him and threw a grenade down and opened up on the wall with my semi auto.. then i hear snortin and coughing... the character looked around and i said hi and laughed. he laughed, offered me a drink and a thank you, then i left lol

I had several people going inside my camp when a storm was comming, they said thanks for letting us in, some dropped some rock and ores as a thanks other didnt say anything just looking inside my base till the storm was over and they moved on, i really had an amazing community experience in the beta weekend, some one got eaten by a worm just a few meter away from my base, he didnt make it, RIP random player.

My self wanted shelter from a storm, the player had locked doors, i said knock konck, he replyed with who is there i said the pizzaman and he said i didnt order pizza i said its a special free beta weekend pizza and he laughted and let me in just in time 🤣👌

I had a blast crafting, exploring, even the combat i had a blast with, melee combat seems to be something some people hate? I had a blast with melee combat 🙂
The unique one time use blueprint are awesome, cant wait to explore everything the game has to offer on June 5th 🙂👌
