SEA Region Singapore Servers

Excuse me, can we get some Singapore based servers for SEA.... you know... like every other game on this planet? We don't want to connect to Japan... we want low latency not bullet trains. Get with it!

Was any of the asian servers geolocated? I expect there would be a couple of clusters in China and maybe one in Japan or South Korea.

I agree with Singapore. From a business side of things we actually host customers, including australians in Singapore in a Tier 4 datacenter. But australians here are hosted locally for once. Asia is a big region, the actual center of the world and the server distribution should reflect this.

I would recommend them to setup in malaysia where the cost are cheaper and now malaysia is 1 of the fastest growth in terms of dc in apac. Though sg consider well developed in terms of digital, however the cost remain very high compare with malaysia.

No problems with you guys getting a singapore based server but please do not use australians as a reason because then its the same argument OP is making. My ping to singapore is basically the same as connecting to a central US server and if i had to choose. It would not be singapore.. Thankfully australians have our own servers in Sydney to use.

I am not affiliated with Australia... and is not the argument I am making. Singapore is literally the center of SEA. The current location of Japan is a complete abomination. Most people playing in SEA are in China / Korea / Philippines / Indonesia / Malaysia / Thailand / India. So literally Singapore is the center of SE Asia. Also... there is a secondary SEA hosted location which looks to be in the middle east (guess based by ping). Choosing Japan was such a massive mistake.
