Game Delayed: Question Vacations/Planning (just curious)
I understand that the company needs to do what they need to do so that they can insure the best game launch experience as possible. I am just curious how many others like myself have taken vacation so they could play week one with no interruptions from the real world?

I know I'm old school and this is just something I've always done with new MMOs that interest me. And although I woke up disappointed in the news I wasn't devastated.

So simple question; anyone else take time off in May an now have to adjust to June?

TBH, I never went that far to plan vacation for game release, even in my "hardcore stage" of gaming :P . But I can understand people who do that, and are being displeased if the release is delayed. But personally I would pick delayed release over having to deal with unplayable wreck of a game, which would end up in feeling that I just wasted a lot of time.

I'm not surprised by this announcement, most games in today's world usually delay before the drop.

But with thousands of people trying to log in at the same time, its gonna be a hot mess, we've all seen it, its predicable with whats going to happen, they'll be dropping hot fixes for this and that, so save yourself some grief and wait an extra week or two. Then you can take a week off, relax, play the game with the wrinkles ironed out, while everyone else is stepping on each other in the forums trying to get the most attention :)
