Also release 2027-2028.
I would choose Dune easily over that in graphics fidelity. At least PC vs PS5 in that case.
But either it's the setting of Dune or Funcom really did not utilise UE5 to it's fullest.
I was more on about tech use from Funcom vs CD Project Red.
You probably did not even understand 50% of what was mentioned in the video.
Didnt even look at it tbh.
You currently represent the Dune: Awakening community. And it does not look good :)
different scopes
different focuses
welcome to game development
Eh, i wouldnt be shocked if its still pretty close to that tech demo. its also a few years out still
So they redid the Witcher 3 "scandal". Showing CGI as gameplay again.
Dune looks like it was done with the Default Lit shader only. There is no high fidelity.
They seem to have used simple textures without specular, roughness and normal maps.
It looks so dull and boring. And the game is set in a desert theme, which is probably one of the easiest theme's to develop a game for.
But I guess the footsteps in the desert do easily impress :D
It looks more like a PoC to me. And it looks like it will be a success :)
