I understand where the confusion may lie, but it's not that kind of "MMO". You get a number of active skills you can swap out, some changes or tweaks to how gear or skills behave, and unlockable passives.

So no needing three tool bars of buttons, the most of which you barely touch. d=P

And to add, abilities are on something like a 6-25 second cool down.

This is not the old school MMO with 3+ rows of 12 keys for dozens of abilities, buffs, debuffs, etc. Those have their place, but this is 3 abilities + passives, and hotkeys 1-8 for equipped items. That's it for now at least.

Though honestly, many of us are calling for a hotbar swapper or second row of hotkeys due to the amount of equipment you can juggle at one time. This is just a would be nice as you can learn to slim down what you carry and only have 2-3 items that you swap in when needed.

Thankfully it's not the type of MMO where you stand still and press numbers 1 through 9 in varying different orders on your keyboard and call it a game.
