How do you obtain the extenders?
I'm surprised there's not a post explaining more about the building aspects of the game. I know I have a few questions about it.
Well shoot.
Hm, interesting though, I guess they have some surprises considering keeping the building elements under lock and key. What could possibly be different late game? Guilds houses? "Worm" house for our pet worms? 😆
According to the developers themselves, the taxation system is purely tied to the base "shielding" system. If your base is shielded, you pay tax, if it's not shielded it's not taxed. Shielded bases are invulnerable, unshielded ones can be destroyed by storms over time, and maybe players in the pvp zone. (That part hasn't been clarified on yet.)
The last time I heard anything about this, my understanding was that you can still have a shielded base tax-free as long as it is constructed on only the basic sub-fief console. With taxation being required starting with the Advanced Sub-Fief Console.
Taxation isn't bad anyway. At least not until you go crazy base sizes.
