Had a great time during the beta weekend with friends from a variety of games hailing from all over the world (NA/Oceanic/EU), and now we're looking for others to share adventures on Arrakis with! We are an 18+ group with members in games such as Pax Dei, New World, Elden Ring and Ashes of Creation; some members date back to EQ1/2, SWG and DAoC. Many are current and ex- military and first responders.

All gaming types are welcome! We have the no-life crew who lives on caffeine and adrenaline, laid-back explorers and crafters, PvP & PvE enthusiasts; enjoy what you want to do in the game!

Highly recommended! I found these folks on Carpathia server; they had a string of bases with garages for shelter set up to use with public permissions. Even had water cisterns storage with literjons and blood purifiers for people to use and contribute to. Fun stuff!!

What server were you guys on during beta? Carpathia? I chose that when I thought of the "Titanic" rescue. I think I saw you around that first research base area (if you had the same name in the Beta) and followed you to a shelter spot when we got the sandstorm warning!

Do you take in casual/new players? I'm a bit new to the MMO thing (I do like some of them that I've tried lately, like Throne & Liberty), but I like the Dune movies that have come out over the past few years so I decided to try this game out. I really enjoyed building in the game and how dangerous it was

Yep, on Carpathia / Sietch Nadir for the weekend beta! I saw you I think as you were crawling towards the shelter area at the bottom of our Hagga Basin main base! No bike yet, unless it was stashed somewhere. You were with someone else -> 'Raptor' (?), if you're 'Willow(something)' in the game. Glad we could help! There's been a lot of chat in the D:A Discord about making it somewhat standard to throw together shelter areas for anyone to use.

New players are very welcome!!

I am curious about starting strategy. I've been reading that some people intend to start with one faction and then betray them in order to get their blueprints etc, then move to the one they intend to stay with.
But also reading that a 3rd faction will be coming into play soon down the road too..
Atreides is fitting to my style however.

Yeah, I feel I'd fit best with Atreides as well. I am interested in seeing a third choice however; that would make it more like DAoC with three factions for balance. I was surprised there wasn't an imperial faction...

I've heard rumors about a betrayal option. If it's in there, I hope it's really, really exceptionally challenging and dangerous to complete!

Small Update For Release

While we are Atreides-aligned, several members have expressed interest in working towards Harkonnen at first with a betrayal in mind and earning the schematics/unique designs offered there. I've been in contact with some larger guilds who want some deniability later on; we'll discuss it in our discord and work out a plan...

GREAT to see you in the channel Cap! Looking forward to causing some havoc on the 5th War's update about the whole house thing makes some sense to me, since I'm a builder/crafter girl and want all the designs I can get!

17 days left... We'll get a docs folder up with class selections and character goals, as well as who will hit the game on the 5th and 10th. World server, class and seitch choice will be discussed after the Memorial Day weekend holiday!
