is this a real MMO or an Ark/ Rust, that has more servers than players

This is only for the PVE area that you use while leveling, likely to give newcomers in the future a safe respite from the dangers of the true desert and the merciless high level players you will find in it. The Deep Desert will have hundreds of players in the same zone and be much more familiar to MMO veterans. We don't even have the MMO part in this beta.

It's similar to how old zones in MMOs like WoW have barely any players after the expansion's been out a while, they're basically dead. The real social experience comes from the hubs and the endgame zone that everyone funnels into. That isn't in this beta.
