Someone made a great point about survival game games having legs. What they means is, they continue to sell over a long period. Raft, Rust, to name a couple. Conan is still very active.
So definitely not an extraction shooter. Survival games have a solid track record. Funcom made a safe play here and could end up having it's best success to date.
It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. ✌️
