They removed the mmo acronym because it's not an mmo game and was never meant to be. It's another pointless survival with channels of 50-100 players and toxic open pvp that can kill even the best game.
If I wanted to play pvp I have BF, CoD, CS.
It's 2025, not 2005, no one is interested in playing parties anymore.
Nowhere in the acronym mmo does it say anything about party or coop playing.
In all the biggest and most popular mmo on the market 90-95% of players play solo because a normal person who has a job, who has a family, has no time for any party and the facts are that only children have friends with whom they are supposed to play. In adult life this is not the case.
100% correct.
Save yourself future disappointment and spend 5 minutes looking into a game first.
I personally didn't, but I enjoy the dune setting. I should've guessed funcom would find a way to ♥♥♥♥ it up, now that I look into the game they're proposing. Sounds like age of conan cancer all over again, or whatever that awful funcom conan pvp mmo was called.
Generally good advice if one has the time.
Brutally true after the age of 30
PvP was the "Future" in 1999, thats why Quake 3 was a mostly online Arena shooter.
