Transferring your character after quickstart?

Just curious- I've looked all over YT and forums and not seen this yet. Can we transfer a character to another server/realm (fees or not) on the 20th after making one (on "one" of the quick-start servers) on the 15th of May?

No. It's undecided whether or not we'll be able to in the future.

If they don't I will just restart on another realm on the 20th. No biggy, and thanks for the info. That said, gamer's have been transferring to other realms for decades so its nothing new.

No, there is no character transfer either for the quick start or the regular release. Dont look for it anytime soon after release. The most likely time this will happen is if they need a consolidation of servers and allow players to migrate under those circumstances.

This would defeat the purpose of having separate servers for Head start and the 20th. If you want to start on the 20th just do that.
They may combine servers or let transfers happen 3+ months into the game when head start no longer plays into player power. So if you want to play 5 days early to wait 90-120 to wait to see if the open transfers seems like a long time to wait.

If I get an invite to the beta this weekend I will use that and the quick-start for testing ideas, a "study-hall" if you will, and then re-roll a new tune the 10th of June. But IMO transferring a toon to another server makes them $$$ if its set up correctly, and shouldn't hurt a thing.
