Yes, you seem to be the only one.
First, you will get The Wildlife of Arrakis when the game releases.
Then, the second DLC will feature an expanded side story and cosmetics.
The third DLC will be cosmetics only.
The fourth DLC will introduce a new side story and cosmetics.
What the side story's are about and what it contains is unknown as of now, and we will probably not find out until two weeks before the DLC releases. The release dates are in the upper right corner of the pictures.
Don't forget, you will also receive a FREE content update that extends the full PvE storylines and grants access to new zones and skills and parts of the overworld map that are currently locked. These new zones are expected to be very large, potentially the size of Hagga Basin or even bigger.
I think there will be a major update unlocking the new zones around the same time the DLCs drop. Looking at the settings of the DLCs, it seems like they will lead to different parts of the map that aren’t even unlocked yet.
I also think that the DLC side stories are instanced, but I'm not sure.
The new zones ( FREE content updates ) will most likely unlock more and different resources, additional overarching PvE stories, PvP zones, and new weapons, tools, and gear schematics plus, possibly some new vehicles.
However, no one knows for sure yet it’s all speculation.
But yes let's capitalize FREE, so no one misses that.
Well, all the updates are free, but the DLCs are not. So yeah, how else would I differentiate them?
And by the way, I really don’t mind if they charge me for the DLCs. 10 or 20 euros more for four DLCs is still worth it to me, even just for the different building styles and base pieces. Plus, we’ll get some different-looking skins for our armor as well, which I don’t mind at all. Almost every DLC is purely cosmetic, except for the one with the side story, but those are just for anyone who wants some extra PvE content.
