Note, they provide some inaccurate info at 7:00. The dude says that the Caladan Palace Building Set only contains the furniture. It was later corrected, it will also contain the floor, walls, and the domed ceiling.

As long as they make money selling cosmetics, they have no reason to switch to private servers.
It will happen only if they see potential new customers.
Or when they shutdown the online servers, if is easy to do and brings some benefit to them.

Out of kindness it will not happen.
