5 day early access is a mistake

I think your going to end up losing more sales than the few extra dollars you make from the higher priced edition. I personally removed it from my wishlist and will probably just play Nightreign instead.

If you took a little more time to read the forums or watch a few videos on YouTube, you’d already know that everything you’re saying makes no sense.

For that reason alone, I’m glad you’ll be playing Nightreign instead because in a massive game like Dune, you’d be completely lost without the skill of reading.

Well I did actually watch a few videos and the general consensus appears to be that 5 day early access is bad, I only knew about it from youtube since I had planned to play it without looking too much into it because I enjoy the survival game genre. I'm a little concerned that you think a survival game is going to require a lot of reading lol. Maybe stick to your hentai novels.

so you have literally wasted hours of time to watch random and misleading youtube clips from any no names, instead to invest 5 minutes of searching time here at the forums or on other official sources ... people who complain about exact same stuff and need to open a same thread over and over again, instead to search for a minute . . .

the these guys who play 5 days earlier are on extra seperated servers which are NOT conflicting and crossing with those on May 20th ON ANY WAY and in future ...

Funcom also are going to host a huge Q&A / FAQ Blog on their official site soon . . .

The early access players will have their own server, if you chose to play in a non early access server you will not run into them. Unless you choose a early access server.

Well, since you're so certain of your point and convinced your info is correct just because you read a few things online and watched one YouTube video I’ll just say sorry and move on. Clearly, reading some Hentai novels would be far more interesting than trying to explain why you're wrong.

I think the overwhelming majority of players won't care one way or another. It would have been something else if it was Steam Early Access, but it's not. Some people buying access to the game while they prepare for the launch instead of running an invitational pre-launch beta is just fine.

If you don't like it that's fine. You do you, vote with your wallet. Taking the time to announce it atop that soapbox is just weird tho.

I agree with OP. Letting people see the game 5 days early watching all the test subjects muck about with it will sour sales. It is a great thing to allow more expensive previews of the game out so the vast majority can avoid wasting money.

I know Dune isn't made for me so my money is already saved but some of you might not know it wasn't made for you and you shouldn't buy it either.

Don't worry, it's not going to change your player experience since everyone isn't going to be playing together. There will be more servers provided after the 5 day pre-launch so you will be starting a fresh character with everyone else at that time. If anything, you will probably have a better experience since the devs will have a chance to work on unexpected bugs and resource issues with a gradual ramp up of players. People are paying extra money to possibly be ♥♥♥♥ on ha ha.
