Sure lemon...
Not now, but at launch it was rough. Conan Exiles now is quite a good game, but it took a year or two of polish after release to get good.
welcome to game development and even more so MMORPG's they are rough most of the time, as the user mention above WOW, most MMO's and games like this been rough.. I don't get why you feel the need to tell people this....
Its like you want a company to do bad or something, I don't understand that...
At least they put in literally the exact same combat system I recommended before they banned me because they had a renegade forum mod they ended up firing.
But conan was an absolute mess, a fun mess, but pretty broken and bad. The only reason it was so fun was because it was exploitable to people who didn't know any better.
Took them way to long to add a non spammy combat system with variety and actual purpose into the game. Then they added a paid expansion instead of adding the map to the base game giving an incentive to old players to return.
Secret World was good but they messed that up.
Age of Conan was fantastic then they broke it and everyone quit.
Pretty bad track record.
Since this game mimics Exiles so closely, I consider that to be a good sign. It is something they already have experience with. They can copy or emulate code from it. They know what works and does not work already. Which is the reason this is going direct to release instead of early access.
