Dune: Awakening

How much those 5 days ahead start really gonna play into end game
So i did little research today watch few videos and learn that though server you start with wont really effect what time you start the end game does

which means if i start 5 days before and someone comes in 5 days later they will get new servers . But the end game server is all one map so you will meet those people with 5 days ahead start.

question how really 5 days gonna mess up balance. i saw it says it takes around 50 hours to even get they flying thing to even able to reach end game. so i expect people with 5 days ahead to prob reach deep desert within those 5 days. now question once they are there how much of a gap it actually gonna create for those who arrive it later

I would encourage you to read the other threads again. You have it wrong, but we have gone over it extensively here already.

Also... people start new games all the time. Years after they went live. They still catch up and partake in endgame stuff.

we talking about not years just few days in between if cant add to my question no need to even talk . i just saw a nice video explaining how a person with 5 days ahead can meet person in end game that isnt 5 ahead . which means they will be maybe 60 hours ahead in terms of game . ya i am 100% sure those who pre order 5 days wont be playing 1 hour a day prob be playing 10-12 hours a day and when they reach end game how of a miserable experience will those new players gonna have since end game is one map no matter what server you are own of those tiny 40 men server

Well that video was wrong. It's been explained repeatedly that the early starters are on a different server from the launch crowd, with their own desert and everything. You won't have to interact with them at all.
Starting 5 days earlier will not have a big impact on players, neither in Pve nor in PvP. Play the game as soon as you can and have fun. Players will come and go, some will be better than others, some will progress faster than others, but in the end everyone will have an equal chance.
No more paying for early access for me.
Did you aswell ready you days off work after all 5 days a head and having no time is like waiting the 5 days aswell bad jokes aside :>

But it anyway 5 days ahead deep desert and release day deep desert after all there other servers there do it like THRONE AND LIBERTY you can join early server but you dont have.

was the system there used good not really was it bad only after transfers open ^^

will that happen in dune dont think so after all there want a buy2play game + dlc and not be a pay2win game but we will see ^^

The servers that will start at official release won,t interact with the early access servers even in the deep deserts.

Well, you can choose which world you want to join. If you select the pre-order ones, you might encounter some people that are stronger for a few days, but it's only a small gap nothing major. Alternatively, you can start fresh on a brand new world. Then, you will never see anyone that has bought the pre-order version, because they will not exist in your world not even in the deep desert. As far as I know, they are separate worlds.

yeah there are separete same of the dev team post samethink like that on twitter/x

after all the desert has a cap of 1k and there will not put to much players in a cluster of 1 deep desert server or you have to queue and who want wait till same one leave the area

I never understood this problem in mmo in general.

If there was such an advantage of 5 days, 1 month, or 1 year, with no possibility to catch up to the rest then any player who has not bought a game on day 1 basically would have no point playing the game.

Many mmos have done pretty well over the years with the influx of new players, never heard anybody complaining about "I joined the server 1 year later, it is impossible for me to enjoy pvp".

Wouldn't the power eventually plateau to the max you can regardless? Meaning you'd be able to catch up eventually by playing enough time (if you care enough to be upset my guess is that you'd put in the time).

There will be a AH so you can sell stuff and buy everthing if a player sells it ever BP of buildings made by player or there map scan date if there sell it so you can catch up or invest less time if you dont like doing it
