That's already another story. I guess you checked the video again. Do you know he was also wrong about the 5 days pre-order bonus?

creating drama or controversy can generate more engagement and discussion, which can be beneficial for a channel's growth. This is because people are often drawn to conflict and strong opinions, and are more likely to comment and share videos that spark debate or emotion. YouTubers are savvy and understand how to use this to their advantage.

While it's important to respect the hard work that YouTubers put into creating content, it's also important to remember that their opinions are just that opinions. Followers should take them with a grain of salt and form their own opinions based on their own experiences and research. Unfortunately, some followers do take YouTubers' words too seriously, and it can lead to negative or even toxic behavior on game forums or other online spaces.

Hilarious, no? Are you one of those people with no self-opinion, that you have to share other opinions to make a point?

I do not think you are correct.

Each World ("server") will have a number of shards (40 players or so), each with its own Hagga Basin - a PvE area with small PvP zones around points of interest. The World's shards will overlap in the social hub and in the Deep Desert, the fully PvP enabled engame zone.

To do endgame stuff, one simply will have to go to the huge PvP zone. There will be PvE stuff to do there, but still in a PvP zone. That's the issue for PvE players.

Why do the obvious griefers always say this? Has nothing to do with fear, it simply is not fun for people who only enjoy PVE. Goading them wont change that.

Funny I have never Griefed anyone. I am one of the MANY others on PvP servers that help people. I can count on 1 hand how many surprise raids I have actually done. I have been on many agreed upon wars. I have run two different servers for 9 months.

Afraid? No. My free time is limited and I do not want to spend it being someone else's content, getting set back hours of gaming time because someone enjoys interrupting and destroying my gaming session and stealing my stuff.

I am simply not interested in this, and I consider the fact that the endgame stuff will only be obtainable in forced PvP zones effectively funcions as a deterrence preventing me from enjoying the game, as it is clearly not designed with PvE players like me in mind.

PvP folks will eventually migrate to other games when there are no easy targets for them here.

Yes, you are absolutely right - almost 95% of weapon parts can only be found in PVP zones. However, all other parts can be found in 95% PVE zones, so if you don't want to engage in combat with other players, you can still collect valuable parts from the map and story to progress.

There is one thing to keep in mind for those who prefer not to PVP: like in some survival games, there is a limit to how much you can carry in your inventory and chests. So, if you want to transport more than what you can carry, you'll need vehicles.
Remember, this is a survival game, not one where you can roam around with 10,000kg of copper or spice in your backpack. The amounts you can carry are small, as weight is important in the world of Dune. Even if you get shot in PVP, you would lose a maximum of 3-4 copper nodes, which is around 15 minutes of work or less.
As far as I know, other players cannot destroy your vehicles (in Hagga Basin), but the worms and sandstorms can, so be cautious.

Now, please keep in mind that this information might not be 100% correct or final, but it is still mainly true based on the data they provided in the Twitch stream.

So, if you are unsure about the game, you might want to wait for a few days after release and check out the reviews from influencers before making up your mind. A lot can change during development, so it's difficult to be 100% certain about anything until the game is actually released.

However, one thing is for sure even if Hagga Basin is made 100% PVE, you will still occasionally lose your items due to storms, heat, and Sandworms. There won't be any reloads, game save edits, turning off weight limits, or hand-holding. This game is not a cozy sim; it's a PVE survival game first and foremost, with a PVP endgame zone for added fun.

If you hate losing stuff, remember that's an integral part of survival games. It's been a long time since we've had a hard game that feels rewarding for the hours you invest in it, and I'm happy to see it making a comeback. Personally, I embrace the struggle, because it makes those moments when you thrive all the more satisfying.

I hope you find exactly what you're looking for. Goodluck

He didn't show any PVP gameplay, but both will still buy, play, and enjoy the game despite all the jank. Some players, including WAK4863, have expressed excitement about the game, though they have some concerns about the animations. Forced Gaming, who had previously criticized the supposed five-day head start, has since retracted their statements.

I am not permitted to address this with factual statements and/or knowledge at this time.

As such, I *speculate* that there will be quiet a few upset folks come May 20th wrt this topic.

Hagga Basin is not going to be 100% PvE. There clearly are PvP hotspots where the good stuff can be found. And only there.

As for losing stuff - you still do not seem to understand what I said. I do not want to be someone else's content. I do not want to waste my time just so that another human player can spend theirs destroying my progress and frocing me to spend more time getting to the same location just to get a repeat. It is all about the human to human interaction. PvP with looting means I would lose my stuff to someone else, whose sole purpose in the game is to do exactly that - feel good and having accomplished something bacause of making me waste my time.

If you had watched the live stream you would have seen that yes while indeed hagga basin is the pve zone with small pvp zones...

The devs had said those zones are crashed ships and or crash areas... those areas themselves are pve or pvp

they had said as a for instance that

pve wrecks have vehicle components

pvp wrecks have weapon components

if you do not wish to go into the pvp area then they have the market where players can trade and buy from other players... you would never have to set foot in a pvp area

if your quarrel is that its not fair you dont want to do pvp at all and you want the weapon component wrecks to be pve as well...this takes away from the flow of the game and ruins the balance they have put into place

they have found a nice balance to pvp and pve, the only players that are complaining about everything are pve players, I have not seen one thread talking about the dissappointment of pvp players...

pvp players have there pvp and pve players have there pve we have the middle ground in play here

if the middle ground isnt good enough then the suggestion is you want to take away from pvp play, which if they do that they would lose me and most of the pvp players

middle ground is important to both sides which I feel they have provided really well here
