Each kill can also give you important resources, on Arrakis most of the water is in the people after all...
But yeah, Aussie prices do suck, you guys really need to somehow replace your goverment with competent people.
I could be REALLY into it if you started on other planets depending on a faction choice/race choice or something.
I could be REALLY into it if you had character classes, like "fremen warrior, scout, or hunter" or something. Or Tleilaxu bio engineer pet class. Or Bene Gesserit martial artist. Or Mentat tactician using devices and what not in combat. Or nobility swordmaster.
The universe is RIPE for being an MMORPG where you fly to different planets and do stuff at each one, with Arrakis being endgame content, raiding underground Fremen sietches and stuff.
It's wild how low creativity current game developers have. Just wild. And sad.
The game has starting classes of Mentat, Trooper, Swordsmaster, Bene Gesserit Agent and Planetologist.
The Mentant character even uses devices and whatnot in combat.
The skill system then allows you to unlock abilities from all the other classes too if you go through quests for the class trainers.
This isn't an MMORPG though, it's a survival sandbox MMO set on Dune, the survival part of the game would not make much sense on those other planets.

This is just the first livestream, they will be having more of them leading to the launch.
Deserts are always dire and crap. Dune is sorta based on it, even in the title, no dunes in the jungle. Though would be good to play in a city map.
Well i have high hopes for this game due to the lack of diversity.
